Returning to Our Studios After Lockdown
We are pleased to say that we have now re-opened our Tattoo and Piercing Studios in Leeds and Headingley. To do so we have implemented a high level of safety and hygiene measures to ensure that your visit to any of our studios will be still be a pleasant experience with minimum disruption.

We ask that all customers adhere to the following information and are familiar with the new process of visiting Rude Studios.

What Do Customers Need To Know?

We have some simple steps to follow when you arrive at one of our Studios. It is extremely important that when you are attending your appointment you do the following:

  • Please wash or disinfect your hands when you arrive at the studio.
  • Guests will be unable to enter the piercing or tattoo rooms other than parents or guardians, or if it is a genital piercing.
  • Face coverings must be worn at all times, you may be asked to remove his temporarily in a safe and sterile manor when checking photographic ID.
  • Follow floor markings and maintain social distancing rules of 1 metre
  • There may be limited seating within the reception area.
  • Please reschedule your appointment if you are awaiting results for a Covid-19 test.
  • Please rearrange your appointment if you think you have been exposed to Covid-19

Jewellery changes, oral piercing, or nasal piercings may be subject to localalised government guidelines.

What Have We Done?

We have produced a ‘Safe System at Work’ manual and action plan for each of our studios, all our tattoo and piercing professionals are dedicated to following these new guidelines and additional training. Not only for their own safety, but for the that of all our new and returning clients.

  • Our ‘Safe System at Work’ manual and action plan dictate how client interactions can take place and cover the following guidelines and training.
  • A full risk assessment of each studio
  • Crisis management process for any suspected transmissions
  • Staff training when returning back to work
  • The safe use of PPP (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Disinfecting and sterilisation of equipment and communal areas.
  • Ventilation of public areas to improve air quality
  • The use of protective eye wear
  • Additional cross contamination training
